Meredith Rosol, OTD, OTR/L

Meredith's own experiences with sensory processing differences from a young age inspired her to become an occupational therapist. She has over 13 years of experience working with neurodiverse children.

She earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Towson University and an entry-level Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University.  As part of her doctoral capstone experience, she has advanced training in the STAR Frame of Reference and approach through her time at the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing, outside of Denver, CO. There she also assisted with operating a school readiness program for children with sensory processing differences and assisted with research regarding the comorbidities and sensory profiles of adolescents and adult who seek treatment at the clinic. 

Her certifications include STAR ProCert 1 through the STAR Institute and Astronaut Training: A Sound Activated Vestibular-Visual Protocol. I am currently completing a Ayres Sensory Integration certification through the Collaborative for Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration (CLASI). She is now able to administer the comprehensive Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI) to her clients to uncover the underlying factors that contribute to their sensor processing differences. She also has experience using Kelly Mahler’s Interoceptive Curriculum with many clients to help them increase their interoceptive awareness.

Her areas of interest include sensory processing differences, interoceptive awareness, neurodiversity-affirming care, and the SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding.
